Good Friday
Good Friday is the day when Christians all over the world remember and mourn the death of our Lord and Savior upon the cross. The only thing more tragic than his death was the pain and suffering that preceded it. Betrayed by one of his closest friends and disciples, Jesus struggles to keep another disciple from responding with violence. Arrested, bound, and hauled off to the highest, holy court in all Israel, Jesus would stand trial before the religious leaders of his people before being sentenced to dying for his ministry. All this pain, suffering, and earthly humiliation Jesus experienced was the result of human sin, and the sinless Savior bore it all for us. Today, we invite you to hear what Christ still has to say to us as we reflect upon the cross, his sacrifice, and his legacy of unparalleled love for all.
