Gift of the Magi: Every Generations’ Gift
We conclude our Advent and Christmas Worship Series today with the arrival of the Magi, those for whom O. Henry’s short story, “The Gift of the Magi” was named. They came from very far away to find a king of a people not their own. They sacrificed their time and resources to make the journey and risked their lives to enter into a foreign land without prior invitation. They sacrificed because they believed it was worth it to worship the king. How do we reveal our wisdom in how we sacrifice to worship Christ, our King?
