Crozetumc   -
Good Morning CUMC!
Thanks to everyone who pitched in to help dedecorate last Sunday. It was a great team effort. It was also great to celebrate June Andrews’ 94th birthday last Sunday!

Today is Baptism of the Lord Sunday. We’ll be reading Luke’s version of Jesus’ baptism, and reaffirming our own baptismal covenants in worship. I hope you’ll join us. And remember, Grow Groups are available at 10am for all ages!
I hope you’ve enjoyed the snow over the past week! I know the kids enjoyed their extended Christmas Break! I find that sometimes the snow is great (like when it’s falling and all is still and silent and beautiful), and other times it’s not so great (like when we have to close Grace Grocery and know that people who need food won’t get it,).
This past week I was in the office, once I was able to get out of my neighborhood. Mostly I did some planning for the coming month/year and also worked with our new Administrative Assistant, Alexa, who began this week. Be sure to greet her next time you visit the church office!
Please pray for Ms. Betty, our 101yo friend from English Meadows who regularly attends 9am worship.  She fell and broke her wrist last week and had surgery Thursday evening. She appreciates our prayers!
See you soon and have a great week!
