Ladies, Don’t Forget this Sunday
Women of Crozet UMC mark your calendar! This Sunday, August
11th at 12:30 pm, check out the United Methodist Women’s quarterly luncheon in
the Fellowship Hall. Crozet UMC’s own Angela Shaw will be sharing her life
journey and you don’t want to miss it!
Angela Shaw is a full-time multiple sclerosis warrior. Since her
diagnosis in 2003, Angela has worked diligently to raise MS awareness and
critically needed funds for a cure. Angela is a virtual athlete, participating
in cross-country cycling adventures from the comfort of her home. She is on the
Board of Directors of Bike the US for MS, a nonprofit based in Blacksburg, VA
that supports the James Q Miller Clinic at UVA. She’s the devoted wife of US Air
Force Lieutenant Colonel (Retired) Ed Shaw and the proud mother of two adult
sons, Phil and David.
Come check it out! You don’t need to be a member, it’s
open to all. Just bring a salad, side dish, bread, or dessert to share
and enjoy this time. It’s a great opportunity for fellowship and food.
