July 4th Worship – Esther & Mordecai: Mentee & Mentor
One of the most insightful relationships we can have is that of mentor and mentee, to have another choose to invest in us their wisdom, experience, and time. Mordecai was not just Esther’s cousin, and adoptive father; he became her mentor. Mordecai chooses to guide her, even challenging her to step into her position and power for the good of her people. Without this relationship, all the Jews might have perished.
