June 14th Worship – David’s Struggle with Severe Depression
This Sunday we explore the suffering King David experiences, and the mental anguish from which he suffers. Intimately acquainted with the mental illness struggles of King Saul, King David now finds himself with feelings of painful solitude, even abandonment, and the fear that pervades his every thought. In other people David finds no empathy or kindness, only ridicule, so he turns to God, crying out for salvation and comfort. Hear the cries of so many that struggle for help and hope in depression and may our hearts be changed to provide empathy and love when darkness descends upon those around us. This Sunday at 9:30 am (Contemporary) or 11:00 am (Traditional) check us out on Facebook as we look at David’s struggle!
