August 16th Worship: Christian Conversations – Negotiating Needs
The Church is comprised of many people who are also in various groups within the larger Body. Jesus, in infinite wisdom, gave us the metaphor of the Church as his Body, and each of us has a necessary role and is a vital part of the Body. Yet we do not always agree on what needs to be done, or how we should fulfill our call to ministry and mission in Christ’s name. This Sunday at 9:30 or 11:00 here on Facebook, we look back into the first books of the Bible to discover that Moses had to wrestle with this truth, and still find a way to keep the people of God together. Negotiating differing needs became an important part of his prophetic role.
