Wrapping up IMPACT’s Nehemiah Action
Forty Crozet UMC members were among more than 350 in-person and 750 Zoom attendees to witness IMACT’s successes at the Nehemiah Action this past Tuesday. With your help and support IMPACT won:
- Commitments to fund $3 million for new affordable housing and to study how to make that happen every year via the Charlottesville Affordable Housing Fund (CAHF)
- Commitments to allocate $5 million to the County Affordable Housing Trust Fund, to prioritize low-income families (families of four that make less than $46,850), and a study to maintain the Trust Fund annually at $5 million
- Commitments to get Charlottesville Area Transit (CAT) to 15-minute wait times by 2024 and to vote for a regional needs assessment for the rural areas.
