Earthquake Relief in Haiti: UMCOR Fund Information
In Romans 12:15, we’re called to “rejoice with those who rejoice, mourn with those who mourn.” Last Saturday, the nation of Haiti was devastated by a 7.2 magnitude earthquake. The Eglise Methodiste d’Haiti sent out a request for aid to those impacted by the disaster. The United Methodist Committee on Relief has already started taking action and established the UMCOR Disaster Relief Fund (#982450). The kits that we’ve been preparing for Annual Conference over the past several years are now going to be utilized to provide relief on the ground in Haiti.
