November 29th Worship: What Now? Pray for Direction
We close out our Worship series on “What Now?” with a constant refrain in the Bible and Christian tradition: pray for direction. We are encouraged, even commanded by Jesus, to ask for God’s guidance, so in taking time to go to God in prayer, we are not only seeking the help we need, but nurturing our relationship and fulfilling the will of Christ. Taking time to pray, even in the midst of our struggle to overcome adversity, trials, and tribulations, means that we are beginning to reflection the inward transformation only made possible through God’s grace. Let us come together in worship this day to unite our hearts and minds in prayer, not just for one another, but all God’s children everywhere.
