October 11th Worship – Dealing With Disappointment: Disappointed with Others
This week we shift to exploring the way the Bible reveals dealing with disappointment in others, and the one doing so in this Sunday’s Scripture is none other than God. God discovers that human sin is pervasive, and heartbreaking, even for a heart as great as God’s own. God decides to start again, but then finds hope in one person who does right and is good: Noah. God’s plans shift, and by focusing on Noah, God also focuses on Noah’s family, and more and more find salvation and blessing because of the good in Noah.
