September 29th Worship: Practice Self-care (Prayer & Anointing)
We can become consumed with doing, even to the point of working ourselves to death. In a culture of constant busyness, we cast aside the way of being and doing that God models for us. Jesus consistently practiced self-care, that deliberate and self-initiated time for rest and rejuvenation of body, mind, and spirit. Come and discover that our God wants us to do likewise and live into the rest we need to live long, joyful, and fruitful lives that brings us into a place of gratitude. This Sunday we close out our Practical Jesus Worship series with Christ’s lesson on self-care, a reflection of love and appreciation for our lives, and have the opportunity to rest in God.
